The person behind your books
I started 608 Bookkeeping LLC after watching too many business owners wrestle with their own books at 11pm — or pay someone who handed back a spreadsheet they couldn't understand.
I'm a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, an Associate Digital Bookkeeper, and an active member of the Digital Bookkeeper Association. My hands-on experience runs across construction and remodeling, healthcare, marketing and advertising agencies, and event and hospitality venues — which means job costing, progress billing, subcontractor payments, vendor invoice coding, project and client billing, and event-driven revenue are all familiar ground.
If your business needs help with the day-to-day, I offer a personal touch you can't get from do-it-yourself software, and I deliver regular reports that are clear, digestible, and actually actionable.

I spent 21 years as a licensed insurance agent before going back to school for accounting. After two decades sitting across the desk from small business owners, I'd noticed the same pattern over and over — the ones who struggled usually didn't have a bad business. They just couldn't tell you what their numbers were doing.
I still hold the property and casualty insurance license I've carried since 1996 — which means I tend to look at a business in terms of risk and exposure, not just categories and totals.
I've handled full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, month-end close, and financial analysis for construction and remodeling firms, healthcare organizations, creative agencies, and event venues. I work in QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto, BILL, Brex, and Workamajig, and I'm happy to meet you in whatever you're already using.
When I'm not in someone's books, I'm in the garden. It's more or less the same job — both grow beautifully if you give them a little attention every week, and both turn into a disaster if you ignore them until it's overwhelming and then try to fix everything in one weekend.
